Amritsar: The news of the death of Khalistani terrorist Harvinder Singh Rinda involved in anti-Corruption activities has turned out to be fake. Rinda himself has broken his silence on the news of his death in the media and has called these reports baseless and false. In May, Rinda, who was involved in several terrorist activities, including the RPG attack on the intelligence headquarters of the Punjab Police, was earlier reported to have been killed in Pakistan.

According to the report, the Bambiha Group had claimed on social media that Harvinder Rinda had been killed by them in Pakistan. At the same time, sources in the Punjab Police had said on Saturday that he died due to an overdose of drugs. A day after the state police claimed that the news was fake, Rinda posted on social media. Rinda, a terrorist, wrote a post on Facebook saying, "I am absolutely fine and the news going on in the media is just a rumor."

He also told that he is currently in Portugal. Rinda, a member of the banned Khalistani outfit Babbar Khalsa International, used to take the help of gangsters from Punjab to carry out anti-national acts and was believed to be living in Pakistan. Harvinder Rinda's name was revealed in the Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) attack on the Punjab Police intelligence headquarters in Mohali in May this year.
