Randeep Surjewala slams central govt over slow rate of corona vaccination

New Delhi: Congress party national spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala on Saturday attacked the Central government over the corona epidemic and questioned the Centre's policy of dealing with corona. In fact, Surjewala shared a news cutting on Twitter, stating that the rate of vaccination in India has declined by 8.5 percent since the introduction of the Omicron variant.

Congress National General Secretary Surjewala also accused the Centre of not bringing booster doses and vaccination policy for people under the age of 18. He said the pace of vaccination is slowing down. Not everyone will be able to get the corona vaccine until December. Surjewala wrote in his tweet, 'How will the Modi government deal with corona. The speed of the covid vaccine is decreasing. Not everyone will be able to get the vaccine by December.'

On the booster dose, Surjewala said, "There is no policy on booster doses. There is also no vaccination policy for people under the age of 18. Omicron's genome is not sequenced. My country demands a statement.' Surjewala's tweet on the corona policies of the Central government comes after Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya made a statement in the Lok Sabha on Friday that 86 percent of the people with eligible population have been given the first dose for vaccination in the country.
