Bhopal: In MP, even though the assembly elections are due next year, Congress is already preparing for it. On Monday evening, former CM and state Congress president Kamal Nath convened a meeting of senior Congress leaders in Bhopal. It was planned on what issues the BJP has to corner in the wake of the 2023 elections. It was decided in the meeting that the 2023 election will be fought under the leadership of Kamal Nath. Patwari, the same working president, said that in the meeting it was decided that "farmers and youth in the state are suffering". Therefore, Congress will fight the 2023 assembly elections on the misrule, corruption, farmers' crisis and other socio-economic issues of the Shivraj government. Patwari said that under the leadership of Kamal Nath, a detailed strategy of the movement has been prepared to raise important issues for the people of the state. Former Finance Minister Tarun Bhanot said that the economic situation in Madhya Pradesh has become very bad. The state has a debt of 4 lakh crores. In such a situation, diesel, petrol, gas, electricity and inflation are being imposed on the people of the State. So people will be made aware of all these issues. In the meeting convened at the residence of former CM Kamal Nath, all the leaders, with the general approval, told Kamal Nath that he has to lead the Congress party in the 2023 assembly elections. Each leader is committed to form the Congress government with full force under his leadership.
