New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is going to celebrate foundation day on April 6. On this occasion, 15-day long programmes are being organized and PM Narendra Modi has instructed MPs to ensure attendance, so as to increase awareness among the public about people-centric policies and social justice programmes. PM Modi addresses the parliamentary party meeting at Ambedkar Bhawan.

During this, PM Modi said that MPs should ensure that the schemes like Har Ghar Tap and Ayushman Bharat reach the eligible beneficiaries and the public remains aware of the schemes which have been specially designed according to their needs. According to BJP office-bearers, MPs, ministers and MLAs have been instructed to spread awareness about 14 central schemes at the local level. The office bearer has said that for example, on April 8, party workers will have to spread awareness about the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. At the same time, every house will have to tap on April 9 and on April 10, people will have to be made aware of the PM Kisan Nidhi.

Along with this, PM Modi will also address party workers on the BJP's foundation day on Wednesday. BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda has also directed the workers to attend the fortnight-long programmes beginning on April 6. The BJP is focusing its attention on beneficiaries of different social schemes. Senior party leaders credit the victory in the assembly elections in four states to social schemes that provide affordable health services, housing and free ration.
