Ahmedabad: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is trying to become an alternative to the Congress-BJP in Gujarat, has suffered a major setback. It is reported that about 150 leaders and workers of the party have joined the BJP. Not only AAP, Congress has also suffered in this turmoil. Several members of the party have decided to join the BJP. The special thing is that such a large number of AAP leaders have changed their party when the party's national convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has returned from a two-day Gujarat tour with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann a day earlier.

According to media reports, Gujarat BJP general secretary Pradeepsinh Vaghela has said that, 'Delhi CM and Punjab CM, did not reach home or even eat food and many people of his party joined BJP. This clearly shows that they cannot fool the people of Gujarat. There is no point in his visit to Gujarat. The blessings of the people of Gujarat are with the BJP. Within five days of the AAP government in Punjab, farmers were lathi-charged.

Welcoming the new leaders to the party, Vaghela said, "Today you left AAP and Congress. They will say that you were of no use. But, I would like to say that you are very important for the development of Gujarat and welcome to BJP. There is a BJP government in Gujarat for a long time because people have faith in us and in the leadership of PM Narendra Modi.
