Camp at Pune Military Sports Institute to resume from August 25

Corona epidemic has greatly affected every region of the country, many obstacles have arisen in many areas. Meanwhile, the national camp for archers, who are being considered as Olympic hope, will start from August 25 at the Military Sports Institute in Pune. The Sports Authority of India gave this information on Thursday. The camp was halted in March due to the COVID-19 virus epidemic.

The 16  archers, four coaches and two support staff will report to the camp on 25 August, they will have to remain in isolation for 14 days inside the ASI campus, after which the practice will begin. The same men's team has achieved the Olympic quota, but the women's team has not yet. Through the Olympic qualifiers for the coming year in Paris, they will have their eyes on the Tokyo ticket.

Also, the statement said, 'Player, coach and support staff will have COVID-19 test, which is mandatory in all national camps across the country.' Archers participating in the same camp include Tarundeep Rai, Atanu Das, B Dheeraj, Praveen Jadhav, Jayant Talukdar, Sukhmanu Babrekar, Kapil, Vishwas, Deepika Kumari, Ankita Bhakat, El Bombayla Devi, Riddhi, Madhu Vedwan, Himani, Pramila Baria and Tisha Sancheti. Along with this all the work will be done keeping the corona in mind, and it will be very important to follow all the guidelines during the games.
