Corona virus reaches India, two infected people found at Kolkata airport

Coronavirus continues to wreak havoc all over the world at this time. Recently, two people who arrived at Kolkata Airport from Bangkok have been confirmed to be infected with Coronavirus during thermal screening. The Airport Authority of India has given this information. Along with this, three cases have been confirmed in Kolkata. Let us know that three cases have been reported earlier in Kerala. All three returned to Kerala from China.

For your information, let us tell you that a passenger named Himadri Burman and Nagendra Singh were confirmed to be infected with the virus on Wednesday. Kaushik Bhattacharya, director of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, informed PTI. Both have been admitted to Beliaghata ID Hospital.

Regarding the matter, Bhattacharya told that earlier a passenger named Anita Oraon was also confirmed to be suffering from Corona virus during thermal scanning. Already, two airlines have canceled flights between Kolkata and China. Low-cost carrier Indigo has temporarily cancelled its flights between Kolkata and Guangzhou from 6 February to 25 February. The airline gave its information in a statement.
