Filmmaker Avinash Das granted bail by court, with this condition

Ahmedabad: Filmmaker Avinash Das has been granted bail by Ahmedabad metropolitan court on Thursday (July 21). On Tuesday, he was arrested from Mumbai and brought to Ahmedabad on Wednesday. On Wednesday, Avinash was produced before the court and remanded in police custody for a day. Speaking to the media, Avinash Das expressed gratitude to the judiciary. He said "I am very grateful to the judiciary. For the police, I would say that they did their job and now the matter has reached court. I will not speak much now, but when the final decision comes, I will definitely speak.''

On the question of registration of a case after the photo was posted, Avinash Das said, "I had no intention about the photo that I had to post it for a particular reason. My intention was like a conscious citizen of the country, nothing more than that. I didn't post thinking that there would be such a big political uproar over it.'' Das further said, "I don't want to comment on my work right now, I don't think it's necessary right now. I can't tell correctly. Once the final verdict comes from the court, I will definitely talk about it in detail.''

Das's lawyer Owais Malik said, "As per the conditions placed by the court for bail, Avinash Das will have to appear before the Ahmedabad Crime Branch between the 1st and 5th of every month till a charge sheet is filed in the case." He doesn't have to post anything that makes it a law and order case. Avinash Das's lawyer said the filmmaker was fully cooperating in the matter. The allegations made by the police are wrong. He will abide by the conditions laid down by the court.
