New Delhi: Barbados Tridents were the winners of the CPL i.e. Caribbean Premier League 2019. The Barbados team has won this title for the second innings. With this victory, this season of the tournament ended. The CPL 2019 finals played at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad faced Barbados Tridents and Guyana Amazon Warriors. In the title match, Barbados Tridents team captain Jason Holder won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 171 runs, losing 6 wickets in the prescribed 20 overs. On behalf of the Barbados side Jonathan Carter hit a fifty in the last over with a stormy bat and brought the team to a big score. Carter scored 50 runs in just 27 balls with the help of 4 fours and 4 sixes.
