DC vs KKR: Kuldeep Yadav had taken 4 wickets for Kolkata in 3 overs

New Delhi: For Indian cricket team's left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav, this season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) is going on very well. He has also won the hearts of the veterans with his performances so far. On Thursday too, Kuldeep single-handedly made Delhi Capitals (DC) victorious for the fourth time on his own. In the match played on Thursday, Delhi team defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 4 wickets. In this match, Kuldeep Yadav received the Player of the Match award.

In the match, Kuldeep bowled 3 overs, in which he took 4 wickets for just 14 runs. He sent Kolkata captain Shreyas Iyer, Baba Inderjit, Sunil Narine and stormy batsman Andre Russell to the pavilion.  Delhi captain Rishabh Pant bowled only three overs from Kuldeep in the match, even though he had already taken 4 wickets. In such a situation, Pant is also being criticized for not getting the fourth over from Kuldeep. On this, after the match, Pant himself has replied. Rishabh Pant said that, due to losing matches continuously, there was a lot of anxiety and restlessness in our mind. We were thinking that taking the match to the end, it would have more chances of winning. Shaun Marsh's return has been good. With the arrival of Khaleel Ahmed, the final XI will be completed. On shreyas iyer's wicket, Pant said, "I have been keeping wickets for a long time. In such a situation, I just kept an eye on the ball and took a special catch.

Pant further said, "Right now we are not looking at the points table. We're just watching the next match. We want to follow our plan. The team will have to show even more speed in fielding. I wanted to give Kuldeep the over (fourth) from the other end, but due to the dew, the ball was getting wet. That's why I didn't get the fourth over from Kuldeep." Let me tell you that, batting first after losing the toss in the match, KKR scored 146 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. For Kolkata, Nitish Rana top-scored with 57 off 34 balls and captain Shreyas Iyer scored 42 off 37 balls. In reply, DC achieved the target by losing 6 wickets in 19 overs and won the match by 4 wickets. For DC, opener David Warner scored 42 off 26 balls.
