DDMA meeting over re-opening gyms, hotels and weekly markets in Delhi today

New Delhi: Corona in the country's capital Delhi is seen under infection control. In such a situation, the Kejriwal government wants to approve the opening of hotels, gyms, weekly markets in Delhi, but for this LG's consent is also necessary. Today, on Tuesday, a meeting of Delhi Disaster Management Authority is to be held under the chairmanship of LG Anil Baijal to take a decision in this regard.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain and AIIMS Director Randeep Guleria are expected to attend this meeting along with Delhi CM Arvand Kejriwal. Let us tell you that some time ago, Lt. Governor Anil Baijal canceled the AAP government's decision to open hotels and weekly markets in view of new cases of Corona. Since then, there has been a confrontation between LG and Kejriwal government regarding this matter.

After this, the Arvind Kejriwal government sent a file of proposals to allow LG Anil Baijal to open hotels, weekly markets, gyms and yoga centers in Delhi again. In the proposal sent by Delhi Revenue Minister Kailash Gehlot, it was said that Corona's are now decreasing in Delhi and the situation is constantly improving. According to the guideline of the Center, the Delhi government has the right to take decisions.
