UP: Elderly women's dead body found in Amethi, panic in area

Lucknow: Crime has increased in Uttar Pradesh for the last few days. Meanwhile, in Amethi city of the state, a case of killing an old man and burning a dead body has come up. A situation of tension has arisen in the village due to the killing of old people, police force has been deployed. The incident has caused panic in the village.

In Bastidei village of Gauriganj Kotwali area, a case of murdering the elderly has come up in protest against the construction of community toilets. A burnt corpse of 65 years old has been found in the village. After which there is a state of panic and fear among the local people. A large number of police forces have been deployed in the village. Amethi SP Dinesh Singh has reached the occasion, and has started the investigation of the case. Also inquiries are being done.

On the other hand, six people died on Friday due to COVID-19 infection in Gorakhpur district of the state. Four of them are from Gorakhpur, one from Deoria and one from Kushinagar. 213 new infected have been found. These include railway hospital, municipal corporation personnel. After this, the total number of infected in the district has reached 10423. Of these, 7475 people have been cured. While the death toll has reached 141. There are 2807 active cases. The process of infecting employees in the railway hospital is not stopping. More than 25 workers and more than a dozen doctors have been infected here recently. With this, there is a steady increase in the cases of corona in the state.
