Decomposed dead body of girl found in suitcase, police engaged in investigation

New Delhi: A sensational case has come to light from Delhi. Police have seized a suitcase from a drain in west Delhi's Punjabi Bagh area. When the police opened the suitcase, they found the decomposed body of a young woman lying in it. Due to the decaying body, the foul smell was very high. Police said there were no injury marks on the woman's body, but the body was so badly decomposed that it was difficult to identify it. It is suspected that the girl was murdered about 8-10 days ago.

Police said that on Wednesday, a passerby passing by the drain in the Punjabi Bagh area informed the police station. A passerby said about this that there is a very assertive smell coming from near the drain. On the information of the passerby, the police force reached the spot. The body has been recovered from the suitcase and sent for post-mortem. Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Ghanshyam Bansal said that the identity of the woman's body is yet to be ascertained. The body has been kept in the mortuary. He has said that the post-mortem is also going to be done only after the body is identified. Ghanshyam Bansal said samples of the body and suitcase have been sent for forensic examination and the police are examining the CCTV footage of the area.

Ghanshyam Bansal has said that there was no injury on the body, but after the post-mortem, we will be able to find out how she died. Ghanshyam Bansal said that a case has been registered under Sections 302 (murder) and 201 (disappearance of evidence of a crime, or giving false information to the screen criminal) of the IPC.
