Amritsar: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Punjab. Here the boyfriend called his girlfriend on the pretext of marriage and along with his companions, she was murdered. After the murder, the corpse was first thrown into the canal. After which she was picked up from the canal and buried in a pit and put salt from the top. The police have arrested the accused. Police say that action is being taken in the case.
Jaspreet Kaur (24) was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend Parampreet Singh along with three others at Rasoolpur village in Jagraon Tehsil of Ludhiana district, police said. The case dates back to November 24. Parampreet Singh had called Jaspreet on the pretext of getting married. Jaspreet Kaur had reached home with 12 tolas of gold and Rs 20,000 in cash. When both of them started leaving in the car, on the way, with the help of another colleague, Jaspreet Kaur strangled her with her stall. After committing the murder, the accused threw the body of the deceased in the canal, but when they saw that there was not enough water in the canal, they picked up the body at night and took it to their farm.
After taking the body to the farm, two more accused have been found. In which one of the accused was the brother. The accused buried the corpse in a pit and poured salt. After which the four sat there and drank alcohol and left for their homes. On the other hand, the police have registered a missing report of the girl and were looking for her. In the police investigation, it was revealed that the deceased was in constant touch with her boyfriend Parampreet Singh through mobile. After this, the police investigated strictly and the accused were found. The police have arrested the accused. The police identified the accused and removed the body in front of them from the farm.
