New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Nishant Tanwar committed suicide. The family has accused the Congress councillor from Delhi Cantt and his neighbour Sandeep Tanwar of forcing Nishant Tanwar to take a step like suicide. The police have registered a case based on the statement of the deceased's family. A young man was poisoned in a car on the Delhi-Panipat highway. He was lying unconscious in a semi-naked state near the car. The people informed the police and rushed him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. After the information, the deceased was identified as Nishant Tanwar, a resident of Narayana in Delhi. Nishant Tanwar's brother Nikhil Tanwar has said that his brother was the head of Ward-2 in Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). A complaint was filed against him by his neighbour and corporation councillor Sandeep Tanwar from Delhi Cantt on September 12. Sandeep Tanwar had also filed a case against Nishant-Nikhil and their parents. According to Nikhil Tanwar, at around 12.30 pm on Tuesday, Nishant had phoned him and told him that Sandeep Tanwar keeps pestering him. He abuses. He has also filed a false case against him at Narayana police station. Nikhil has alleged that Nishant has eaten poison under pressure. The police is currently investigating the matter.
