The Maharashtra government has auctioned Six properties of wanted gangster Dawood Ibrahim on Tuesday. The property located in Ratnagiri in Khed district earned INR 22.8 lakh to the government. Two Delhi-based lawyers bought two properties. Advocate Bhupendra Kumar Bharadwaj the new owner of few of Dawood's land said he will open “an anti-terrorist national front at these locations”. Another advocate Ajay Shrivastava who bought two other properties including a dilapidated two-story bungalow which Dawood and siblings use frequently before they abscond from the country in the 1990s. Due to some ‘technical reason’ one more listed property was not auctioned. Another property belonging to Dawood aide late Iqbal Mirchi in Milton Apartments on Juhu Tara Road in Santacruz (West) also saw no bidders. The 1,245 sq ft flat has a reserve price of INR 3.45 crore.
