Maharashtra Government auctions 6 properties of Dawood Ibrahim, Two Delhi lawyers bid

Mumbai: Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's property in country's economic capital Mumbai was finally auctioned. Two lawyers from Delhi have found 6 properties of Dawood. The government raised Rs 22 lakh 79 thousand 600 rupees. Lawyer Ajay Srivastava has received two properties of Dawood Ibrahim and four properties to lawyer Bhupendra Bhardwaj. These auctions have been made online.

It may be mentioned that two lawyers from Delhi had already deposited the money for bidding on the mansion.  The Finance Ministry of the central government is conducting these auctions of 17 properties which were seized under the Safma and NDPS laws. The properties to be auctioned by the government were inspected on 2nd November. For this inspection, two lawyers from Delhi had arrived in the village of Ratnagiri from Delhi. The names of these lawyers are Bhupendra Bhardwaj and Ajay Srivastava.

Earlier, Bhardwaj had held talks with a private news channel that if he won the auction, he would prepare the office of the institution fighting against terror.  Ajay Srivastava said that if he gets the mansion, he will set up a centre of eternal education here.
