In Madhya Pradesh, counting of votes for the by-election to 28 assembly constituencies is going on today. So far, 24 out of 28 seats have come to an early trend in which BJP is showing an edge. Looking at the initial trends in the counting of votes, the BJP has been leading in 18 seats and the Congress is leading in 7 seats. In the meantime, Home Minister Narotam Mishra has claimed that the BJP government is going to be with a majority.

Talking to reporters recently, it said, "BJP has nothing to lose, those who are losing ask them. We'll only gain. I heard Digvijaya Singh's statement. If he's questioning EVM, it means BJP is winning. We're getting majority & the two elderlies (Digvijaya Singh, Kamal Nath) are going to Delhi: MP Minister Narottam Mishra " In view of the counting of votes for the by-election, the BJP president met Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

On the BJP's lead during the trends, former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh said, "The results so far are postal ballot. Government employees, officials and more 80-year-old, disabled and corona-infected patients in a postal ballot, the Congresspeople could not get a voter list of who is going to cast their votes. So, it had to happen. I have said that the people's verses administration elections are going on. After the opening of EVM, the real reality will come to the fore." Now it has to be seen whether Shivraj's government is there or Kamal Nath's government comes..?
