Delhi's 'Education Minister' told Dhanvantari God as Goddess.., People said- Are you drunk?

New Delhi: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia, who is badly implicated in the liquor scam, tweeted and wished the countrymen a Happy Dhanteras. But, Sisodia made such a big mistake in his tweet that, people on social media started questioning him being the Education Minister. At the same time, netizens are also asking 'Is Sisodia Ji drunk?'

Let us tell you that on the day of Dhanteras, Lord Dhanvantari is worshipped. The deity Dhanvantari is believed to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. His incarnation took place during the churning of the ocean. Delhi Education Minister Sisodia in his tweet called the deity Dhanvantari as the mother goddess. He wrote in a tweet, 'I pray to Mother Dhanvantari, the goddess of health and prosperity, to maintain happiness and peace in everyone's life and fulfil everyone's wishes. Happy Dhanteras to all the countrymen.'

Responding to this tweet by Sisodia, Twitter user Arvind Singh wrote, 'Delhi Education Minister Ji! Are you drunk? You do not even know that Dhanvantari is not a goddess, but a deity who appeared during the churning of the ocean. You should be ashamed.' Although the education minister of Delhi deleted his tweet after it drew flak on social media, by then social media users had taken screenshots of it. On the day of Dhanteras, Lord Dhanvantari is worshipped. He appeared on the same day during the churning of the ocean. Worshipping Dhanvantari keeps a person healthy. Along with this, the grace of Lord Kuber and Mother Lakshmi also remains on him. This increases happiness, peace and prosperity.
