New Delhi: The Kejriwal government of Delhi seems completely serious about the increasing pollution in the country's capital. NDMC will be fined one crore for not taking action on fire in a pile of garbage on the side of the main road in Delhi's Kiradi under the North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC). Environment Minister Gopal Rai in the Kejriwal government on Friday issued an order to impose a fine on the corporation to the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) after an inspection. Environment Minister Gopal Rai reached Baba Vidya Pati Marg of Kiradi on Friday evening and took stock of the situation. There was a fire in a pile of garbage on the roadside. The smoke coming out was causing pollution in the entire area. Gopal Rai said that there was a fire in the garbage dumped there in the early morning and no one came from the Northern Corporation to extinguish it. This is quite a serious situation. The situation of air pollution in Delhi is becoming increasingly serious, yet the agencies are not serious about strict adherence to the government guidelines. Describing this fire on the side of the main road as negligence of the corporation, the environment minister directed the DPCC to impose a fine of one crore on the northern corporation.
