New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has granted bail to journalist Rajiv Sharma, arrested by the Delhi Police on the charge of spying for China. The police arrested Rajiv Sharma in September, but his bail application was turned down by the Patiala House Court, after which Rajiv Sharma moved the Delhi High Court. Rajiv Sharma is accused that he has been spying for China since 2016. He is a PIB cardholder and through his YouTube channel, Rajiv Sharma has also posted many videos about India and China, which have been viewed by millions. It is being told that from 2016 till now, 45 to 50 lakh rupees were made available by China through shell companies to share sensitive information. While giving information at the time of the arrest from Delhi Police, it was told that documents of sensitive information related to the army were made available to Rajiv Sharma. Apart from this, the police is also investigating the money that was sent to Rajiv Sharma through the companies of King Shea and Sher Singh.
