Yogi's special appeal to govt employees while greeting Diwali

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, the country's largest state, has greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Deepawali and urged government employees to adopt poor families and celebrate Deepawali with them. He said that we have 16.5 lakh government employees and 4 lakh police forces in the State. All of them are requested to adopt a family and celebrate Deepawali with them on this occasion.

He also urged the people's representatives to adopt each house and contribute to lighting lamps and providing sweets in those houses, giving Deepawali gifts to the children of those families. A huge Deepotsav is being organized in Ayodhya on Wednesday. On this occasion, diyas will also be lit by those who have got houses under PM Awas Yojana. CM Yogi said Deepotsav is becoming famous not only in India but also all over the world. He wished everyone all the best.

On the other hand, the Yogi Government has given appointment letters to selected Assistant Engineers for the Department of Housing and Urban Planning by the UP Public Service Commission. UP CM Yogi Adityanath gave appointment letters to 33 out of 46 candidates on Tuesday, November 02, before Deepawali. The remaining selected engineers will also be given letters soon. The UP Chief Minister took to Twitter to wish the engineers for the same. Yogi Adityanath wrote on Twitter, "I sincerely wish and congratulate all the newly selected engineers on successfully securing a place in the UP Public Service Commission examination and being selected in the Housing Department."
