The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) today began their hunger strike against the Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami winning the majority votes in Tamil Nadu Assembly. Working president of the party, MK Stalin is leading the strike. Edappadi Palaniswami won the trust votes on 18 February when the house got adjourned twice. The speaker of the house asked the DMK members to leave the house because of their behaviour. The decision of hunger strike was taken after this incident and Madras High Court will also hear the plea of DMK.
