Srinagar: Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Shahzad Ahmad Seh, who has been synonymous with terror for the past year in Anantnag and Kulgaon areas of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, was killed by security forces in an encounter on Friday (December 24, 2021). He is accused of killing five BJP leaders and police officer Ashraf Bhat. According to the report, a reward of Rs 7 lakh was announced on Shahzad Seh. He was among the top A category terrorists. An encounter with security forces was held at Aravni in Bijbehara on Friday in which he was dumped. Kashmir IG Vijay Kumar has confirmed the killing of a notorious terrorist in the Aravni encounter. According to the report, three terrorists, armed with weapons, had arrived at Palm Momin Hall, Aravni in Bijbehara at midnight on Thursday to meet their newsman. The arrested terrorists have been identified as Imran Majid, a resident of Mohalla Mochhawa and Mohammad Amin Rather, a resident of Mochhawa in Magre locality.
