Yamuna Expressway Toll New Rates: Driving on the Yamuna Expressway will soon become expensive as the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has hiked the toll charges. The 165-km long Yamuna Expressway connects Noida with Agra. The new rates are applicable between Greater Noida, the origin point in the Gautam Buddhs Nagar district, and Agra. The authority has increased the Yamuna Expressway toll charges by 15 Paise to Rs 3.25 per km depending upon the vehicle. YEIDA announced the new rates on Wednesday after its 74th board meeting. From Rs 2.50 to Rs 2.65 per kilometre, the tariff for a car, jeep, van, and light motor vehicle has increased. The new fee for light commercial vehicles, light goods vehicles, and minibuses is Rs. 4.15 per kilometre. It used to cost Rs 3.90 per kilometre. Yamuna Expressway toll rate for buses or trucks has been increased from Rs 7.90 per km to Rs 8.45 per km. The toll price on Yamuna Expressway for vehicles having three to six axles has been increased from Rs 12.05 per km to Rs 12.90 per km. Large vehicles and bigger vehicles will be charged Rs 18.80 per km. The Yamuna Expressway toll rates last increased in the previous year. Yamuna Expressway is a 6-lane wide road. It is India's third longest expressway.
