A senior ED source, who is investigating the investigation, told the press that "these disclosures were made by Raman during interrogation last year." IT Department had raided and seized on Chase Global Advisory Services in Chennai during the operation. "When the papers and hard disks were shown to Raman, he accepted it," Raman was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) last year, and is currently out on bail.
