Rahul Gandhi accuses Centre for 'punishing youth with real degrees'

New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has once again targeted the Centre. In fact, today, on Wednesday, he has accused the centre of allegedly vacating the posts of teachers in the top educational institutions in the country, saying, "The government is punishing the youth for having a 'real degree.''

shared a photo of some reports and wrote in his tweet, "Educated youth are facing severe unemployment. It seems that the Government of India is punishing them, especially the youth of OBC-SC-ST categories, for having a real degree.'' According to the reports shared by the Congress leader, there are many posts of teachers in IITs and many central universities and 60 percent of the posts reserved for OBCs and scheduled castes are vacant in many Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).

Rahul Gandhi had criticized the situation of freedom and democracy in India by two foreign institutions earlier. For this, he said last Tuesday, "the country does not need to seal these institutions, but the situation here is much worse than they imagined.'' Not only that, but he also claimed in an online conversation with Professor Ashutosh Vaanodum of Brown University in the United States that 'if one can control Facebook and WhatsApp, then democracy can be destroyed.'
