Washington: At least 8 people, including several Asian women, lost their lives in a shootout at 2 massage parlors in Atlanta, U.S.A., and in a suburb. Authorities arrested a 21-year-old man in Southwest Georgia after the incident, officials said on Tuesday. Atlanta Police Chief Rodney Bryant said 3 women were killed at a spa in Northeastern Atlanta while 1 more woman killed at another spa. He said that it seems that these four women were Asian.
Atlanta police officers received information about a shooting at a spa at 5:00 pm local time, where 3 women were found shot on their bodies. The officers were on the spot and they get to know about the firing at another spa and 1 woman also found dead there. Earlier in the evening, 5 people were reported to have been shot at the 'Young's Asian Massage Parlor' in Acworth City, about 50 km northward of Atlanta. Cherokee County Sheriff's Office spokesman Capt. J. Baker said that 2 people lost their lives and 3 injured were shifted to hospitals, where 2 of them lost their lives.
Baker said the authorities have not yet said whether the people who were injured in the attack at the 'Young's Asian Massage Parlor' were female or men or what breed were they? Officials said a suspect in the Acworth shooting was seen in surveillance video at about 4.30 p.m. a few minutes before the shooting. Baker said that Robert Aaron Long, a resident of Woodstock, was arrested.
