Mandi: A new twist has come in the case of suspicious death of a clerk serving in the Ministry of Education at Bakhlad under Police Station Janjehli in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. Clerk Padma Singh (45) was not killed but murdered. This matter came to light after the post-mortem report came. On the complaint of the wife of the deceased, the police has registered an FIR under the murder and SC-ST Act. Two suspects have also been arrested on charges of murder. RFSL team is engaged in inspecting the spot. Where it has been learned that the body of the clerk was found lying in the drain at some distance from the house. Padma Singh used to work as a clerk in the Ministry of Education. On Sunday, Padma Singh had gone to attend the ceremony. At night the acquaintance left him on the road near the house and went away. Padma Singh went for home by road but did not reach home. In the morning his body was found from the drain adjoining the house. He had severe wounds on his face.
