Patna: The Election Commission team has arrived in Patna on a visit to Bihar for the assembly elections. The two-member team of the Election Commission will remain in Bihar for two days. Deputy Election Commissioners Sudip Jain and Chandrabhushan Kumar along with other officials of the Commission will attend the meetings for the election preparations. The team will hold a meeting with district magistrate and SSP-SP of all districts of Bihar in two days. It is said that a meeting of the districts of North Bihar will be held in Muzaffarpur by 1 pm. It will discuss the poll preparedness of Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, West Champaran, East Champaran, Vaishali, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Samastipur, Saharsa, Supaul and Madhepura districts. This will be followed by a meeting in Patna from 2.30 pm to 5 pm. Talking about the preparations for Patna, Nalanda, Bhojpur, Buxar, Saran, Siwan and Gopalganj districts. On the second day (Tuesday), a meeting will be held at the Collectorate Review Building in Bhagalpur between 9 am and 1 pm on poll preparations in Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Lakhisarai, Sheikhpura, Jamui, Khagadia, Begusarai, Purya, Araria, Kishanganj and Katihar districts. From 2.45 pm, the Commission will hold meetings with officials from Gaya, Jahanabad, Arwal, Nawada, Aurangabad, Kaimur and Rohtas districts in Bodh Gaya.
