'Enough cash available, not to worry' ; alleges RBI

New Delhi: Nearly two days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement of demonetization of Rs. 500 notes and Rs. 1000 notes, ATMs opened today. Following which a long queue of people in a panic state has been noticed outside the ATM centres.

So, after witnessing it, Reserve Bank urges the public to not to get panic, and to have patience, as they can exchange their old notes according to their convenience, any time before December 30, 2016.

"There is enough cash available with banks and all arrangements have been made to reach the currency notes all over the country. Bank branches have already started exchanging notes since November 10, 2016", said the Reserve Bank of India statement issued on Friday.
