The MPL Sports Foundation and Bata Power, a sportswear brand, have partnered with the Esports Federation of India (ESFI) to support the Indian team competing in the 13th Esports World Championship Finals in Israel. The 13th Esports World Championship, which begins on Tuesday in Eilat, Israel, will include a seven-member Indian squad competing in three gaming categories. During the competition, the Indian athletes, who will be supported by MPL Sports Foundation and Bata's POWER sportwear brand, will compete in the CS:GO, Tekken7, and PES categories, according to the Esports Federation of India (ESFI). The tournament will include four official games, including DOTA 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Tekken 7, and eFootball 2022, as well as one sponsored game, Audition. "It is heartening and motivating to see these gamers from various backgrounds representing India on the biggest stage in the world, and I believe we will be able to win gold and bring glory to the country," said ESFI President Vinod Kumar Tiwari.
