New Delhi: Today (November 13) is the 10th wedding anniversary of Team India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. Ashwin posted a beautiful picture on Instagram with his wife Prithi Narayan on this special occasion. In the shared picture, the two are seen carrying soft ice cream in their hands. Looking at the picture, it seems that the two are enjoying themselves in a garden.
Ashwin captioned the picture and wrote, 'They say “marriages are made in heaven” but how we grow together in that relationship accepting the shortcomings and appreciating the strengths of one another will dictate the success of the partnership termed as marriage. Prithi Narayanan and I complete our 10th wedding anniversary today and It has been one super ride. Happy Anniversary baby.' Ashwin and Prithi Narayan got married on November 13, 2011. The two had an engineering degree from the same college and started liking each other. In July 2015 Ashwin and Prithi became parents to a daughter named Akira. In December 2016, the two once again became parents to a baby girl.
Ashwin has taken 239 international matches and 621 wickets for India. Ashwin has also scored 3,483 runs with the bat. On the other hand, Ashwin has taken 413 wickets in 79 Tests at an average of 24.56. In ODI, he has taken 150 wickets in 111 ODI matches at an average of 32.91. Ashwin has taken 58 wickets in 49 matches in T20Is so far. Off-spinner Ashwin has been part of Team India, who won the World Cup 2011 and champions trophy 2013.
