A farmer was murdered while he was out for a walk in Krishnanagara village of Madhuban police station area of the district, and was shot dead by criminals this morning. The incident of murder took place at around 6.30 am. When 65-year-old farmer Vishwanath Rai reached Hardiya bridge in Krishnanagara village while doing his morning walk criminals shot him. The local people had taken the injured farmer to the local CHC. Where the doctors have declared him dead. The police who reached the occasion tried to convince the people but the people remained adamant, demanding to call the senior officers. It is said that the perpetrators of the incident had left on a bike. According to the information received, the deceased farmer did not have any children, she was living with her nephew. Recently she had a paralysis attack. After which she was doing morning walk on the advice of doctors. Madhuban Police Station President Rajesh Kumar has said that the culprits are yet to be identified. But on the basis of the clues, raids have also been conducted to nab them.
