THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Police have found a body buried in the backyard of a house on the Alleppy-Changnacherry road, which they suspect to be of a youth who was reportedly missing since September 26.
The mother of the missing guy, Bindhukumar, reported him missing to the Alappuzha North station, where Kerala Police opened an investigation.
On September 29, the police received a PCR call records of Bindhukumar and seen that he spoke to his friend Muthukumar on September 26, the day he went missing.
Police questioned Muthukumar about Bindhukumar, but he said he didn't know. On Friday, he was supposed to appear in front of the police, but he never did. The police then attempted to reach him, but his phone was off.
When the police arrived at Muthukumar's rented residence on Saturday morning, it was locked, but they found that some work had been done at a shed in the garden.
On digging the backyard, the Cop found the body, who they suspect to be of Bindhukumar. The police are now awaiting a forensic report. Now, a forensic report is being awaited by the police.
Further investigation revealed that two other people, in addition to Muthukumar and Bindhukumar, had been in his home on September 26. Bindhukumar worked as a real estate broker, while Muthukumar is a carpenter by trade.
