Rohtak: Monika, who fasted with mehndi on her hands for her husband's long life, consumed sulphas tablets in the afternoon at Sheetal Nagar in Haryana's Rohtak city on Thursday morning, due to which she lost her life. The husband alleged that Pradeep, a resident of Sonipat, was not returning Rs 13 lakh, who seems to be a nephew in the relationship. That's why his wife has taken this step. Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
According to the police, Jitendra, a resident of Sheetal Nagar, has said in his complaint that he works in DTS. He was married to Monika (36), a resident of Nindana village, 19 years ago. She has 2 children. Pradeep, a resident of Sonipat, had borrowed Rs 13-14 lakh from his wife and him. He also got a tractor and a car out of his name and gave them to Pradeep in 2016.
Pradeep is not returning the money now. Nor was he depositing the instalment of the car and tractor. For this reason, his wife was upset. At 5 am on Thursday, he went to Delhi on duty. Pradeep had come home after I left. When the wife asked for the money back, he refused to give it. For this reason, his wife Monica committed suicide by consuming sulphas tablets.
A woman, a resident of Sheetal Nagar, lost her life on Thursday after consuming sulphas tablets. Her husband has alleged that Pradeep, a resident of Sonipat, had borrowed lakhs of rupees, who seems to be his nephew in kinship. Due to this problem, his wife has committed suicide. Police have registered a case of abetment to suicide. Further action will be taken based on the facts.
