Kochi: Abu Ashkar Ali, a Muslim child who had indulged in violence and provocative slogans during a rally of radical Islamic organisation Popular Front of India (PFI) in Kerala, has been arrested by the police from his house in Pallurathi, Kochi. He will now be handed over to the Alappuzha police as there is a case registered against him. The child's father says that he is not a member of the PFI, but has been attending his programs. According to media reports, ACP Of Pattaanjali Ravindranath has confirmed that the father is an active member of the PFI of the child who raised slogans against Hindus. Ashkar Ali says that whatever slogans the child had raised is all normal. It claims that such slogans were also raised during the anti-CAA protests.
