Modi government will take big decisions to improve economic condition, Finance Minister gave hints

New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said on Tuesday that the central government is fully ready to further improve policies and programs to make India a more attractive place for investment. Sitharaman was addressing a meeting of top entrepreneurs from India and Sweden here on Tuesday, during which he said this.

Union Finance Minister Sitharaman also gave information about several recent steps taken by his government to encourage business. This includes a major decision to reduce the rates of income tax on companies. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman further said, 'I can only invite AAP and assure that India is committed to further improvement in various sectors of the economy.

He said that it may include banking sector, insurance and mining sector and many other such sectors can also be included in it. Sitharaman has invited investors from Sweden to invest in India, especially in infrastructure development projects. Let us tell you that the government of India has set a target of attracting an investment of hundred lakh crores on infrastructure in five years.
