Fog Warning: These trains running late today

NEW DELHI: At least 17 passenger trains were running late in the northern parts of India due to low visibility and fog, said railway officials on Wednesday, January 25.

According to the officials,  the Mysuru-MGR Chennai Central Superfast Express, the Visakhapatnam-New Delhi Andhra Pradesh Express, and the Rani Kamlapati-Hazrat Nizamuddin Shaan E Bhopal Express are among the trains that have been delayed by an hour.

The Durg-Hazrat Nizamuddin Humsafar Express, Dr. Amdedkar Nagar-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Malwa Superfast Express, and Delhi Brahmaputra Mail trains have been delayed by more than 02:30 hours, railway officials said. The Banaras-New Delhi Kashi Vishwanath Express and Pratapgarh-Delhi Padmavat Express trains are running by 02:00 hours late.

Certain trains, such as the Jabalpur-Hazrat Nizamuddin Gondwana Express and the Bhusaval-Hazrat Nizamuddin Gondwana Superfast Express, are also three hours late.

Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast significant snowfall and rainfall throughout Northwest Indian plains through January 26. These states include East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
