'Conspiracy hatched against Arnab Goswami'- Parambir Singh's big disclosure

New Delhi: In a major revelation, former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh has made a big revelation, saying that the TRP's allegation against Republic TV was a part of a political conspiracy. He said former police officer Sachin Vaze used to work on the directions of former Maharashtra Home Minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Anil Deshmukh.

In his statement made before the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Parambir Singh said that Vaze used to get political instructions to give a definite direction to the investigation. Vaze used to report directly to the then Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and take instructions from him to determine the direction of the investigation. This is a complete violation of the process of investigation. In this regard, the ED had asked Parambir Singh under question no. 13 that during the period of investigation, it was found that Anil Deshmukh used to give instructions directly to Sachin Vaze. Tell us about it?' To this, Parambir Singh replied that Anil Deshmukh used to hold frequent meetings with Sachin Vaze regarding the ongoing investigation and also gave him instructions in this regard. One of the major cases is the TRP case of Republic TV. Along with this, other ministers, including Anil Parab, also used to give instructions to Vaze.'

This is the second revelation regarding the TRP case, in which a political conspiracy has been revealed against Republic TV and its editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami. Earlier, Sachin Vaze had told the ED during interrogation that Anil Deshmukh wanted to arrest Arnab Goswami in any kind of TRP case. Following the revelation, Republic TV has issued a press release demanding an investigation into all those involved in the case. Republic Media has also demanded an inquiry against some media houses accusing them of their involvement in the conspiracy. Republic media says that due to business interests and other reasons, this fraud was promoted.
