Former Pakistan cricket team captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has given his opinion on comparing Indian captain Virat Kohli and Pakistani captain, Babar Azam. Inzamam told that Babar will take time to reach the place where Virat is standing today. But yes, there is no hesitation in this, that the kind of game he has shown right now is truly commendable. Babar Azam of Pakistan has shown very good performance in the last few years.
Babar made a place in the team when Inzamam was the coach of Pakistan. He said that in the beginning, he did not bat so well. Babar was given the opportunity to continue playing. Former Pakistani opener Aamir Sohail also said that Babar and Kohli should not be compared. Babar will now take 5 years to achieve what Kohli has achieved. Babar is currently the number one batsman in the T20 rankings, while Virat Kohli is the number one batsman in ODIs.
Babar is also considered as a batsman like Kohli. Inzamam said that comparing the two is not right. Inzamam revealed on a TV channel that "Babar used to work very hard in Test cricket in the early days. But we never doubted his ability. That's why we decided to stay with him. Babar is always compared with Virat Kohli but he has played more cricket and if you look at his figures and the performance that Babar has done so far, it is not so bad.
