Former Indian cricket team all-rounder Irfan Pathan, defending former Indian coach Greg Chappell in a recent interview, said that people blame Chappell for ruining his career but he has no hand in it. Due to this statement, a social media user called Pathan the next Hafiz Saeed. Irfan is very hurt by this statement of the user and he also gave his reaction to it.

Meanwhile, Irfan's statement in defense of former Indian coach Chappell was made news by all media institutions. On the same news, an objectionable tweet was made about Irfan from a Twitter account called 'Krutika Hindu'. The user tagged Irfan Pathan in her tweet, writing that "Irfan Pathan is not able to hide his desire to become the next Hafiz Saeed. It is a really ridiculous thing." After seeing such objectionable tweet Irfan was very hurt and angry Irfan replied, calling it extremely embarrassing. Pathan wrote, 'This has been the mentality of some people, and today look where we have come and stood.'

Irfan had said on a show that when he was doing good bowling in the early stages of his career, he was sent to number three in the batting order as an all-rounder. People blame former coach Chappell for this while Sachin Tendulkar advised former captain Rahul Dravid to do the same. Many veterans and sports lovers believe that Irfan was a great swing bowler but he could not concentrate due to sending him to bat. His career was completely ruined because of his attention to both batting and bowling. This happened after former Australian cricketer Chappell was the Indian coach, which is why people blame him for this decision and after his decision, he was trolled a lot.
