Lucknow: Former Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC) manager Srikrishna Tripathi has been arrested in connection with an embezzlement case of around Rs 4.5 crore. The action against former UPSIDC manager Srikrishna Tripathi has been taken by the EOW (Economic Offences Wing). He is alleged to have caused a huge mess in the supply of chlorine tablets by the former manager. According to information received, the Economic Offences Wing of Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested Shrikrishna Tripathi, a former manager of the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC). Srikrishna Tripathi has been arrested by the EOW team from the state capital Lucknow. The EOW team had received a complaint about a case of embezzlement of chlorine in the supply of tablets. The developments were investigated after receiving a complaint in the matter. Investigations revealed that rs 4.5 crore has been embezzled in the supply of chlorine tablets. After this investigation process, the EOW team arrested the former manager from Lucknow. The Economic Offences Wing is taking action against the former manager.
