Lucknow: The price of lemon increased, and the eyes of thieves also came on lemon. Incidents of lemon theft have suddenly increased. In Uttar Pradesh, thieves cleaned their hands on 12 sacks of lemons from a vegetable market in the Thana Modinagar area of Ghaziabad. The thieves took the lemon with them, leaving the rest of the vegetables kept there. The price of the stolen lemon is said to be around 70 thousand rupees.

Rashid, a resident of Bhojpur, runs a vegetable market in Ghaziabad's Thana Modinagar area in the business of buying and selling vegetables. Rashid's lemon sacks kept in a vegetable shop here were blown away by thieves. When Rashid reached his shop, he found lemons missing there. Surprisingly, the rest of the vegetables besides lemon were kept safe. On Tuesday night, 12 sacks of lemon were placed behind by Palledars under the shed of the shop. From where the thieves stole these lemon sacks. When the CCTV camera of Mandi was checked, the thieves were seen in it.

The thieves came with full preparations including the car to steal the lemons. In the morning, when the shopkeeper made a noise, a crowd also gathered there. On getting the information, the police also reached there and are talking about arresting the thieves with the help of CCTV. The incident took place when a guard is also deployed in the mandi. Even after this, the unsuspecting thieves stole the lemon.
