Authorities have sealed most of the roads and markets and public cooperation has been requested. Meanwhile, there was silence in the markets on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan on Monday. Shops remained closed and have been erected at various places to prevent the movement of people. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, this time there were no celebrations in Srinagar on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. Due to the ban, few people reached the Shankaracharya temple for worship.
