New Delhi: The Central government has issued instructions to remove posts from various internet media, including Twitter and Facebook, spreading misleading information about the epidemic. On the other hand, Twitter says it has taken steps at the request of the Government of India. Now, the account holders who will be affected by this move have been informed. However, Twitter has not given detailed information about the affected account. Similarly, if sources associated with it were to be believed, the post contained misleading information and was designed in such a way that people were nervous. A recent Twitter spokesperson said, "When a proper legal request is received, our team reviews the posts concerned both in accordance with Twitter rules and local laws. If the content violates Twitter rules, it is removed. But if the content is illegal in terms of special jurisdiction, but not against the rules of Twitter, we stop that content from appearing only in India". Now there are also reports that Twitter has deleted more than 50 posts at the request of the Government of India. All these posts also include tweets from one Mp, MLA, and filmmaker. On the other hand, it had informed all account holders before the action so that they were aware of the move at the legal request of the Government of India. Amidst all this, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said last Saturday that "There is a shortage of corona vaccine in the country and the Central Government should focus on it instead of spending time in public relations and unnecessary projects'.' In fact, Rahul tweeted that 1.4 percent of the population in the country has been vaccinated so far. The country needs a vaccine. In another tweet, he also said, "The government should focus on vaccine, oxygen supply, and other health services. The crisis will deepen in the coming days. The country should be prepared to deal with it'.'
