6 died, 15 injured as bus overturns in Gujarat

Vadodara: Six people died when a bus collided with a trailer on a national highway in Gujarat's Vadodara. At the same time, 15 people have been seriously injured in this accident, and are undergoing treatment in the hospital. The collision between the bus and the trailer was so severe that the bus has broken badly and its glass also shattered.

The accident took place near Kapurai crossing on National Highway 48 in Vadodara, in which a luxury double-decker bus collided with the trailer. There were a lot of people travelling on this bus. The injured have been admitted to SSG Hospital. The injured are undergoing treatment, said Dr VL Tiwari of the hospital. According to the police, the incident took place on Tuesday morning when the bus was on its way to Mumbai from Rajasthan. Around 2 am, the bus driver tried to overtake a truck and the bus lost control. The bus then hit the trailer and overturned on the highway. Police are now trying to identify the victims.

In the fierce collision of the bus and the trailer, the glass up to the top of the bus has been broken and a part of the bus has been shattered very badly. Not only this but by looking at the pictures of the accident, it can be estimated how severe this collision was. In the pictures, it is shown that the glass of the bus has been broken and shattered and the seats have been uprooted from their place and the mattresses of the seats have come out of the bus and fallen on the roads outside.
