This time, Garba is not going to be held in Gujarat at Navratri due to Covid-19. However, after which students from an institution in Surat have made a Covid protective Garba dress. PPE kit is used through doctors in the hospital to prevent Covid-19. Sometimes ordinary people have even been seen wearing PPE kits. Now, a dress from the PPE kit has been made by the students of Surat, which is specially designed to play Garba. It has been revealed that the students of the first year of IDT India have tried to make the dress attractive by designing it using polypropylene fabric with hand painting and dressed it with mirrors. Layering has also been done in such a way that people are going to maintain social distancing while playing Garba. In addition, a disposable cover of masks and Garba sticks are also made. The drape scarf has also been designed, which can also be made from PPE fabric. At present, the students produced 2 full pairs of Garba outfits. These Covid Garba outfits are being gifted to the Covid care workers of the civil hospital.
