Gurugram: There have been many changes in the country in the recent past, meanwhile, it has been decided to close the meat shops every Tuesday in Gurugram, Haryana. In fact, some councilors raised the issue citing religious sentiments at their house meeting of the Municipal Corporation on 18 March and after a long discussion, the proposal has been allowed. For this, before the official order was issued, a team of MCG officers and police made rounds of the city for the second week in a row to warn and close any such shop. The same yesterday, on Tuesday, the team also went to the supermarket where the meat is being sold and ordered them not to sell meat on Tuesday. Due to this, a supermart was also fined for selling meat on Tuesday. In the absence of any formal instructions from the MCG, some supermarkets in the district kept their meat sections open on Tuesday as well. The outlet of Le Marche, one of the largest shops in the district on Golf Course Road, was also fined. The manager of the same outlet said that we had not yet received any order related to it, so we had kept our meat section open, but now that we have been informed about this order, we will close from now on. At the same time, a senior officer of the MCG said that the MCG house has passed the resolution, so we are taking action to close the meat shops on Tuesday. He said, "Meat shop owners will take some time to fully determine this. Our team is going to the meat shops and informing them about this, warning, along with this we have started issuing challans".
