New Delhi: After failing to make it to the final of the T20 World Cup, Team India is trying to make a new start. Team India will be looking forward to next year's ODI and 2024 T20 World Cup through T20 and ODI series. Former cricketers and cricket experts are advocating that Hardik Pandya should be handed over the captaincy for the T20 World Cup to be held in 2024. On this, Now New Zealand Captain Kane Williamson has also given a statement. Kane Williamson said, "Hardik Pandya is obviously a superstar of the game. I have played cricket against him on many occasions. He is one of the biggest match-winners in the world. The most different thing is that he is an all-rounder, and his bowling is going really well. The ball is also coming well on the bat. He is a special cricketer.'' The New Zealand stalwart further said, 'As far as his leadership ability is concerned, I have not played with him so I don't know about it, but he has got a lot of success in IPL. He has got many great and experienced players in terms of leadership in Team India. So his guidance under the leadership of players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be very helpful.'
